Usher & Tameka Raymond’s 5 year old Son In ICU Following a Pool Accident

On this past Sunday Usher posted this photo with him and his son Usher Jr. along with the words

"The love of a family is one of life's greatest blessings."

Usher’s 5-year-old son was rushed to the intensive care unit of an Atlanta hospital after a horrific swimming pool accident.


Usher Raymond V nearly drowned after getting his arm wedged into drain of the family swimming pool Monday afternoon, authorities said.

The boy's aunt, Rena Odin, and a maid had tried unsuccessfully to free the child, who had been trying to retrieve a toy that fell into the drain, but a pair of workmen managed to free the boy, according to Atlanta police spokesman Carlos Campos.

"My nephew was in the pool and he went in and I couldn't get him," Odin frantically told an emergency operator in the 911 call. "I tried to get him. They got him and did CPR on him."

A paramedic could later be heard on the call telling the dispatcher that Usher Raymond V "drowned but he's breathing now."

Campos said the boy was "conscious, alert and breathing" when paramedics arrived before 4 p.m. He was at the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Scottish Rite.


Though the boy is still in the hospital, doctors expect a full recovery.

Usher Raymond V is one of two sons of Usher and Tameka Foster, who divorced two years after getting married in 2007. The singer went through a long legal fight with his ex-wife and was awarded primary physical custody of his two sons last year.


Wow! speaking of bad luck with water, if you remember Foster is still recovering from the death of a son from a previous relationship last year. Usher’s stepson, 11-year-old Kile Glover, died in July 2012 after being struck in the head in a jet ski accident on Georgia’s Lake Lanier.

Dead at 34, Chris Kelly of 90's Group "Kris Kross"

Sad news... 

“Warm it up” and "Jump" rapper Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly died this afternoon after being found unresponsive in his home. He was transported to Atlanta Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

If you remember he was apart of the popular nineties duo “Kris Kross” along with Chris Smith. The youngsters were discovered by Jermaine Dupri of So So Def Records in 1990.

Anyone who grew up in that era should recall the trend where everyone jumped around, with braids, ripped caps and wearing their clothing backwards.

We are unaware of the exact cause of death but an autopsy is planned for Thursday morning.

The former member is said to have studied engineering after his music career went downhill and also had an independent indie label called C. CO. We are unaware of how successful that became.

It was also rumored for years that he had been battling Leukemia based on his appearance, but he dispelled those rumors claiming to have Alopecia which causes extreme hair loss. Many folks close to his camp are saying drugs are involved, but we shall wait on the autopsy report.

Lil Wayne Suffered Another Seizure

Lil Wayne was hospitalized again for a seizure. Sources close to Wayne said the rapper was taken to Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles late Tuesday night by his bodyguards. 

Rapper Lil Wayne admitted in an interview with Power 106 last month that he is an epileptic. 

‘This wasn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh ... I have had a bunch of seizures, you just never hear about them'.

According to reports, Wayne was treated for one seizure, and released early this morning.

Hmm! Epilepsy? What do you think?

Okay! so none of us knows exactly when and why Chris Breezy and RiRi are no longer Twitter buddies; well except those who are close to the two OR if you stalk their Twitter page every second of the day.

Sadly, some folks do... but I digress, there have been lots of speculations since a young, handsome (now very popular guy) named Justin Laboy well known for  his "RESPECTFULLY posts on IG; well back in 2013 posted Twitter pics of he and Rih real cozy and exchanging kisses (on the cheeks so don't get excited :) His captions read:

It was said that he is RiRi's new love and the reason Chris Brown unfollowed her but I will have to disagree. 

I think the guy just got lucky after one of her concerts in Newark, N.J. Ri is a pretty down-to-earth chick so maybe she was showing her fan some extra love. 

Or maybe he's also from Barbados? Oh! I don't know...

In an interview with The Breakfast Club.

“I wanted to be more of a man. Me being young, even with relationships in the past, I did a lot of lying, I did everything just to make sure nobody gets hurt in the process. All I am saying is… You don’t mess with people’s genuine feelings. You just don’t! I’m not trying to be a player. It’s never an easy situation to tell another person that you still love another person, so that’s kinda difficult. But our friendship, me and Karrueche’s friendship, is still cool. We know Kimye rarely gets brownie points, but I thought this was a great gesture on their part and shows maybe they are not so self-centered. 

The parents-to-be asked that donations be sent to Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago instead of having a baby shower! 

How nice, a statement was released from the Hospital thanking them for their support:

“Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago would like to extend its sincerest gratitude to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for their thoughtfulness and support of the hospital. Funds donated on behalf of Kardashian and West will be directed to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Fund which will help care for the most critically ill babies and their families. We wish them all the best in the upcoming arrival of their baby.”

Well they certainly can afford it... 

One day I'll be able to tell you guys that sigh!! but until then, bring on the Gifts baby... preferably in monetary form LOL!

In other news... I see Kim is still refusing to wear Ma-ter-ni-ty clothing or similar like most pregnant women. SMH.
