Kris Humphries Sued - Herpes Claims!

So apparently Kris Humphries has been sued by a woman who claims he gave her herpes.

One Kayla Goldberg claims sometime in August 2010 she met Kris at a Cafe in L.A. where numbers were exchanged. They apparently met up at a popular nightclub on the Sunset Strip that later that night.

According to the suit, Kris came on to Kayla, touching, kissing and dancing with her. Kayla claims he took her to his hotel and they had sex (including oral) multiple times and that Kris did NOT wear a condom. Eww!

She further claimed Kris did not inform Kayla he had herpes and she claims in the suit that he did indeed have the disease.

Kayla says a week later she was diagnosed with herpes. Her symptoms included a sore throat, fever, body aches and immobilizing pain, as well as extreme vaginal irritation and painful lesions on her genitalia.

She is suing for sexual battery claiming Kris knew he had herpes when they hooked up and didn't tell her.

We do not know how much she is seeking in damages and so far there is no comment from Kris.

Wow 2 years really? I expect we will be hearing Miss Goldberg being sued for defamation shortly... Why wait so long? What evidence is there now?

Amber & Wiz are Preggers!

It is reported Amber Rose is expecting her first child.

According to a close source 

"Amber and Wiz Khalifa unexpectedly got pregnant, but they're really happy to be starting a family together. Amber's already had to make some big lifestyle changes, like not smoking cigarettes anymore. As a model she's used to having a thin waist, so this is going to be an adjustment for her."

Amber wants to move up their wedding date to October to avoid getting married when she is heavily pregnant.

Rapper Wiz proposed to Kanye West’s former girlfriend earlier this year and although the pregnancy was a surprise, the pair are said to be thrilled about the baby.

How much sleep is enough? While sleep requirements vary slightly from person to person, most healthy adults need at least 8 hours of sleep each night to function at their best. A restless night and a cranky morning can be blamed on your daily routine, such as your lifestyle choices, sleep schedule and of course your mattress.

Here are a few tips which will help you optimize your nightly rest so you can be balanced, productive, mentally sharp, and full of energy throughout the day.

• Set a regular bedtime. Try to go to bed at the same time every night. Choose a time when you normally feel tired, so that you don’t toss and turn. 
• Make sure your bed is comfortable. You should have enough room to stretch and turn comfortably. If you often wake up with a sore back or an aching neck, you may need to invest in a new mattress or a try a different pillow.

• Keep noise down. If you can’t avoid or eliminate noise from barking dogs, loud neighbors, city traffic, or other people in your household, try masking it with a fan, or recordings of soothing sounds. You can buy a special sound machine or generate your own white noise by setting your radio between stations.

• Take naps to make up for lost sleep, try to limit it to 30 minutes to and hour. Avoid napping too close to bedtime, which may make it a bit difficult to get back to sleep. Throwing off your entire day.

• Wake up at the same time every day. If you’re getting enough sleep, you should wake up naturally without an alarm. If you need an alarm clock to wake up on time, you may need to set an earlier bedtime.

• Limit caffeine intake and stay away from big meals at night. You might be surprised to know that caffeine can cause sleep problems up to 10 to 12 hours after drinking it! Consider eliminating caffeine after lunch or cutting back your overall intake. Make dinnertime earlier in the evening, and avoid heavy foods within two hours of bedtime. 

• Fight drowsiness. If you find yourself getting sleepy way before your bedtime, get up and do something stimulating to avoid falling asleep, such as washing the dishes, phoning a friend, or preparing for the next day. If you give in to the drowsiness, you may wake up later in the night and have trouble getting back to sleep.
• Make your bedroom sleep friendly. A bedroom that is too hot or too cold can interfere with quality sleep. Most people sleep better in a slightly cool room with adequate ventilation.

• Finally, reserve your bed for sleeping and relaxation only. If you associate your bed with events like work or errands, it will be harder to wind down at night. Use your bed only for rest. That way, when you go to bed, your body gets a powerful cue, it’s time to nod off.

Delicious Recipes: Oatmeal-Flax Chocolate Chip Cookies

A "healthy dessert" can put a smile on anyone's face. So why not bake a few cookies for your kids snack or who knows when guests will knock! Have fun...

Oatmeal-Flax Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:    
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1/4 cup flaxseed, finely ground in a spice grinder, or pre-ground flaxseed
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
12 tablespoons (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Directions: 

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Whisk the flour, oats, flaxseed, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a bowl.
Beat the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar in a large bowl with a mixer on medium-high speed until fluffy, about 4 minutes. Beat in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in the vanilla. Reduce the mixer speed to low; add the flour mixture and beat until just combined, scraping down the bowl as needed. Stir in the chocolate chips.

Drop heaping tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart. Bake until golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes. Let the cookies cool 3 minutes on the baking sheets, then transfer to racks to cool completely.

UPDATE::: The saga continues, it is reported that Evelyn Lozada has filed for divorce. Did you see this coming? What ever happened to counseling before ending an ordained marriage? 

Only about a month after she and Chad Johnson were married on the island of St. Maarten in the Caribbean. Lozada reportedly filed the documents in Florida today, calling her marriage to Chad "Irretrievably Broken."

It is alleged that a woman by the name of Beverly Shiner, 30 years of age, from Boston, revealed that she dated Chad from January - May this year, during that time Evelyn was certainly planning her dream wedding.

Shiner made her first contact by following him on Twitter, she said that Chad sent a personal message to her with his number inviting her out for dinner.

"I Googled him before we met and saw he was engaged, but at the time there were reports that she had broken it off because she thought he was cheating, so I assumed they had split up."

She also claimed "While I was there he called Evelyn and asked if she could order a pizza to be delivered for him, and even had her pay for it on her credit card." 
"I thought it was odd and wondered if she was really his fiancee or just a secretary."

Interesting, I am guessing Chad Johnson will be issuing a statement soon. Stay tuned.  My! my!

This is indeed a low time in Evelyn Lozada-Johnson's life, just days after dealing with the domestic dispute between her and her new husband Chad, Evelyn's brother-in-law has passed away after a long battle with cancer. 

You may remember on a episode of Basketball Wives, Ev became very emotional when speaking about Anthony Ochoa, who was married to Lozada's sister Sylvia. He managed to walk Evelyn up the isle on her wedding day which was her greatest wish. 

Now, Evelyn has released a statement regarding the domestic violence situation, saying she’s “deeply disappointed” in Chad. 



EVELYN'S STATEMENT: 

“It is with great sadness and much trepidation that I release this statement addressing the domestic violence incident that happened this past Saturday. I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me, it is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well. I’m grateful to my family, friends and fans for the outpouring of support during this difficult time.”

Many people feel that Evelyn should be the last to speak of violence, due to her persona on reality tv show "Basketball Wives" where some referred to her as a bully. I do wonder if the newlyweds can and will overcome this unfortunate event.

VH1 Issued This Statement:

As you’re probably well aware, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson was arrested on Saturday night after a fight with wife Evelyn Lozada which resulted in a laceration to Lozada’s forehead. The couple was married on July 4 and their wedding plans were being documented for the upcoming series, Ev and Ocho, but in light of these recent events, VH1 has decided to cancel the series. The network’s statement regarding the decision is below.

“Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it.”

"Rio! Rio! Rio!" 2016

We bid London 2012 goodbye and say hello to Rio de Janeiro. 

 
Are you excited? The Brazilians certainly are. Is it 2016 already? large-brimmed hats sporting the 2016 logo were seen in London along with thousands of party-ready fans let's us know what we can expect.

Leonardo Gryner, CEO of the organizing committee in Rio, said at a recent news conference:  

"In Brazil, as you know, we like to party".

Well sounds like one big party to me, I must admit I cannot wait.

The Construction in Rio on the Olympic Park and Olympic Village began in June at a cost of roughly $15 billion, and all venues are expected to be completed by 2015.

Brazil won a record number of medals at the London Games and is aiming for a top-10 finish at the 2016 Games in Rio. Team Brazil won 17 medals overall in London, two more than it did in 2008 in Beijing and 1996 in Atlanta. It finished with the same 3 gold medals as in Beijing, two short of its record from the 2004 Athens Games, when Brazil was 16th overall.

In addition to the 3 gold medals, Brazil won 5 silver and 9 bronze.

In 2016 the committee is expecting the Brazilian athletes to make more finals, particularly in swimming and athletics saying they have already identified some of the sports in which the country will need to improve in order to finish in the top 10 in Rio.
 

Brazil didn't win a single medal in athletics this year, and only 2 in swimming, a silver for Thiago Pereira and a bronze by Cesar Cielo.

Dolphins Terminate Chad Johnson

Can it get any worst?

The Dolphins terminated Chad Johnson's contract about 24 hours after he was arrested in a domestic battery case involving his wife.


Johnson had been released from jail on $2,500 bond earlier Sunday after his wife accused him of head-butting her during an argument in front of their home. Johnson was charged with simple domestic battery, a misdemeanor.


The confrontation came barely a month after Johnson married Evelyn Lozada, who is on the reality TV show "Basketball Wives." The 34-year-old Johnson had been battling for a spot on the team after a disappointing season with the New England Patriots in 2011.


Following Sunday's practice, coach Joe Philbin said he would meet soon with Johnson.


"We're going to deal with this," Philbin said. "We're not going to waste time. ... We're all in this thing together. Everybody that sets foot in this building, we're all held to a high standard."


Only five days earlier, Philbin said Johnson's roster spot could be in jeopardy if he didn't temper his freewheeling behavior. Johnson annoyed the coach by frequently using profanity during a session with reporters.


Johnson's defense attorney, Adam Swickle, said an order has been issued that prevents Johnson from contacting Lozada. Swickle declined to comment further.

One win for the NBA and now another for the 2012 London Olympics, King James has fully redeemed himself this year and America should be more that proud. We just hope Cleveland is also.

Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James lead U.S. to Gold, 100-107 win over Spain . They only trailed twice in the fourth quarter — in a group play game against Lithuania — and finished the tournament with a 7-0 record.

Bryant, who will turn 34 later this month, said this would be his last Olympics: "This is it for me. The other guys are good to go."

Kevin Durant, who two months ago lost the NBA Finals to LeBron James and the Miami Heat, led the U.S. with 30 points while LeBron finished with 19 and joins Jordan and Scottie Pippen as the only players to win an NBA title and Olympic gold in the same year.

Kobe Bryant added 17 and Carmelo Anthony had 8. Pau Gasol led Spain with 24 points and former NBA point guard Juan Carlos Navarro added 21.

This must feel like a nightmare for both of them.

Chad "Ocho Cinco" Johnson was being held Saturday night in Broward County Jail where he will remain until he can appear before a judge, which may not be until Monday. He is charged with simple battery, domestic violence, which is a misdemeanor.

According to reports team officials were "aware of the situation and are in the process of gathering of relevant information," Dolphins spokesman Harvey Greene said.

Johnson's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, declined to comment.

Johnson signed with the Dolphins in June, four days after he was released by New England.

On Friday night in the Dolphins' 20-7 loss to Tampa Bay in the exhibition opener, Johnson let the only pass thrown to him slip through his hands.

What's For DINNER? Want to try something easy and inexpensive?

CHICKEN AND BROCCOLI STIR FRY

Ingredients:
3 chicken breasts, cubed
3 Tbsp canola oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 head broccoli
1 small white onion
3 garlic cloves
4 cubanelle peppers, seeded and diced (from the garden)
1 tsp crushed red pepper (optional)
Salt and pepper
1 cup Mahatma® White rice 

Directions:
Cube chicken and toss with oil, soy sauce, salt and pepper, in the wok/skillet you will be using. 

Marinate for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, prep the rest of dinner. Peel onion, garlic and thaw the peppers. 
Cut the florets off the broccoli head and cut the onion and peppers into quarter size pieces. Turn on the burner on highest making sure the skillet is extremely hot, with the chicken and marinade inside. Toss the chicken often. Once the chicken has begun to cook, add the vegetables in with the chicken and toss around. Add the crushed garlic too. Allow the stirfry to cook in the hot skillet, tossing a few times. 
While the stir-fry is “stir-frying,” cook the Mahatma rice as directed on package. Serve Chicken and Broccoli Stir-fry.

So, I know you all remember the young, beautiful Lark Voorhies aka "Lisa Turtle" from the childhood sitcom "Saved By The Bell"; I am still baffled as to what is going on with her these days. 

It has been said she had a facelift gone wrong, then I heard her skins is affected by the deadly disease "Lupus". 

Currently, she has her own production company called "Yo soy".

Voorhies was engaged to American comedian/actor Martin Lawrence in 1993. On March 9, 1996, she married actor/producer Miguel Coleman. The couple divorced in 2004. Then May 8, 2007 she married Andy Prince; they have one child.

Chad Ocho Cinco Johnson - Arrested for Domestic Violence

😮😮😮 Chad arrested for Domestic Violence Over Receipt From Box of Condoms, according to Police...

Wow! NFL player Chad "Ocho Cinco" Johnson was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence tonight, according to the Davie (Fla.) Police Department. 

Following a complaint made by his new wife Evelyn Lozada, a star of the reality show "Basketball Wives".  It is said Chad head-butted Ev during a dispute over a receipt for condoms being found in his car.

A neighbor called police after hearing a heated argument between the Johnsons.

Mrs. Johnson received lacerations to the forehead and was taken to the hospital, Chad claims he accidentally bumped heads with Evelyn. Chad was taken into custody and awaiting a court appearance. 

If you remember they were married just early last month and already it seems there is trouble in the camp. Johnson and Lozada were prominent in the recent first episode of HBO's Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Miami Dolphins, where Johnson said Evelyn had withheld sex from him last season.

VH1's Basketball Wives is filmed in Miami and also features Shaunie O'Neal, the former wife of former NBA star Shaquille O'Neal. Lozada used to be the fiancee of NBA player Antoine Walker.

Rice Recipe: "Authentic Red Beans and Rice"

"Authentic Red Beans and Rice"

Serves 8

1 lb dried red beans


SEASONING MIX:
1 Tbsp paprika
2 Tbsp ground black pepper
2 tsp dry mustard
1 1/2 tsp dried sweet basil leaves
1 tsp dried oregano leaves
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp ground cayenne


Day Two Preparation:
1/2 lb bacon slices, finely diced
1 1/2 cups onion, chopped
1 1/2 cups green bell pepper, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
3 bay leaves
2 cups fresh tomato, chopped and peeled
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 Tbsp brown sugar
5 cups low sodium chicken broth
2 cups Mahatma® White Rice, prepared according to package directions

Directions:

DAY 1: Put the beans in a large pot, add hot water to cover, and let soak overnight.

DAY 2: Combine seasoning mix ingredients in a small bowl. Makes 1/4 cup plus 1-1/2 teaspoons.

Drain the beans. Place the bacon in a 5-quart pot over high heat. Cover and cook, uncovering to stir once or twice, until crispy. Add onions, bell peppers, celery, and bay leaves. Scrape the bottom of the pot, cover and cook until the onions are lightly browned, about 3 to 4 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons of seasoning mix and drained beans; scrape the pot bottom. Cover pot and cook, occasionally scraping bottom of the pot, about 7 minutes. Add tomatoes and scrape pot bottom well. Cover and cook, stirring from time to time, about 8 minutes. Stir in the garlic, cover and cook 4 to 5 minutes. Stir in brown sugar, 2 cups of the chicken stock, and 2 tablespoons of seasoning mix. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce the heat to low, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes. Add 2 cups more of stock, cover and cook, stirring occasionally, about 50 minutes. Stir in the remaining seasoning mix, if you like your beans highly seasoned, and the remaining 1 cup stock. Cover and cook until beans are tender, about 20 minutes.
Serve in bowls with warm rice.

Rihanna admitted "It was embarrassing. It was humiliating" saying after the split: "I was resentful. I held a grudge. I was dark" "I lost my best friend."

Brown, pleaded guilty to physically assaulting her in 2009. It has been rumored on many occasions, that the two are still in love and sees each other secretly.

Many all over the world are disappointed that Rihanna even speaks to Chris, let alone sees him.
I guess we will find out if this is so, on Sunday. 

Oh No Not Randy: Randy Travis Arrested

Country singer Randy Travis was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

It is said Travis was found naked at the scene and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.

A Pontiac Trans Am registered to Travis, 53, had driven off a road west of Tioga around midnight Tuesday, said Tom Vinger, spokesman for the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The vehicle had struck several barricades in a construction zone, according to DPS.

Vinger said Travis made threats against Texas Highway Patrol troopers and was not wearing clothes at the time of his arrest. He refused sobriety tests, Vinger said, so a blood specimen was taken.

Travis was released on $21,500 bond Wednesday morning pending an appearance before a judge in Sherman, about 60 miles north of Dallas. Blood test results are pending.
