Is Hope Lost for The Bald and Beautiful? Lebron James Hair Again!

Are Treatments Effective? Or Just Bald Balderdash?

Doesn't LeBron and the rest of the follicly-challenged population know that going bald is the ultimate fashion statement? Women have adored bald men for ages, and it's not just because they're low-maintenance.

One hot trend is the "reverse mullet"—you know, all beard and no hair. It screams "bad boy" in a way that makes hearts flutter and helmets unnecessary.

This week probably had a lot of men ready to join the shiny scalp club. If LeBron, with all his millions, can't figure out how to save his hair, what hope is there for the rest of us? Spoiler alert: plenty. LeBron's hair has been on more adventures than Indiana Jones, matching his mood swings and game-time transformations. But his receding hairline has become a punchline for critics and fans alike.

Despite the uphill battle with baldness, LeBron's low-cut look and once-visible hairline suggested he might have stumbled upon a magic potion.

Curious men worldwide want to know his secret. Social media buzzed for months about a new product claiming to stop hair loss for both men and women. Naturally, I had to test this miracle cure and roped in a guy friend for a follicle challenge.

He's now on round two of this 60-day treatment, which has been going for about 4 months. And guess what? It's working! Those hair follicles are waking up and sprouting new growth, though he's not quite ready for a shampoo commercial yet.

Remember, these products aren't magic wands. They require time, patience, and the persistence of a toddler refusing bedtime. My friend is committed, and if this stuff proves worthy, you'll hear about it here first. Stay tuned and follow along!

RID UNWANTED HAIR

Women just like men have hair growth in the face, though the hair is not as coarse.
Unwanted excess hair can be a bit unappealing when it grows in between the eyebrows, in the eyebrows, chin, upper lip, and sideburns.

Doctors say the #1 cause of facial hair growth in women is due to hormonal imbalance and is very common in women who are overweight. Other reasons are due to a person's physical characteristics, ancestry and genetics which also plays a role.

The good news is, there are several methods for facial hair removal for women.
For a temporary technique, many opt for waxing or tweezing, while for something more permanent, laser hair removal is the option.

Waxing

This is a quick and effective – yet painful – way to get a smooth-looking face. But again, some women react to this technique better than others, so be sure to try a test spot before waxing the facial area. You can find a few skin care products that are meant to soothe skin post-waxing.

Tweezing

Some women choose to tweeze unwanted hairs, but this isn't an ideal solution because repeated plucking can cause irritation of the hair follicle and, on darker-skinned women, may result in scarring. Also, hair will grow back thicker and stiffer once it's plucked. Unless you have just a few stray hairs that occasionally pop up, avoid tweezing unwanted hair.

Laser hair removal

This is a popular hair removal procedure. The ideal candidate for laser work has fair skin and dark hair, but darker-skinned women can have good results with an experienced laser practitioner. Overall, laser hair removal is not very effective on light blonde or white hair.
Before you begin laser treatment, you should consult a dermatologist to determine if you are a good candidate.

Electrolysis

Electrolysis has the best overall results, versus any other method, in ridding hair for long periods of time- or even permanently. Many different hair and skin types can benefit from it; because it doesn't target hair pigment (color) like laser, but attacks the follicle itself.
People that aren't good candidates for laser can still get electrolysis.

Like everything else is has it's cons like previous waxing or tweezing can make hair follicles bent or misshapen, and getting the needle to the root more difficult to destroy the follicle. Sometimes multiple treatments are necessary, which can be time consuming. Electrolysis can also cause skin discoloration if not done properly.

It is important to examine all methods and see which works best for you.

"Juice Beauty" - The Organic Solution - Buy this Christmas Season!

It's that time of the year! Looking for that perfect Christmas Gift for your Mom, Sister or Significant Other?
"Juice Beauty", a healthy way for that special someone to keep their body looking healthy from head to toe. Check it out!

Juice Beauty… high efficacy yet authentically organic beauty solutions masterminded by a California team passionate about healthy lifestyles and whose organic products are backed by powerful science.

It all started when Karen Behnke, serial wellness entrepreneur, who built one of the first corporate wellness companies in the country, developed a keen interest in personal care products upon becoming pregnant with her first child at the age of 40. She was astounded to learn that, although the skin absorbs over 60% of what is placed on it, there were very few available healthy personal care products that worked well.

Karen subsequently bought the name “Juice Beauty” and launched the Company. Juice Beauty’s mission is to bring high efficacy, authentically organic, and pleasurable beauty solutions to people worldwide. Juice Beauty is proud to fulfill this mission with their clinically validated products supported by solid eco-values including the purchasing from certified organic farmers and manufacturing with California’s sun (solar power).

Karen has assembled a team of experienced professionals and scientists who are pioneering organic efficacy within the beauty products industry. Juice Beauty, with its unique antioxidant packed organic juice base, is featured in retailers throughout North America and Asia and was awarded its first patent for the unique Green Apple Peel formulation.

Clinically Validated Age Defying and Blemish Clearing Results
Juice Beauty uses powerful ingredients such as alpha lipoic acid, coenzyme Q10, DMAE, peptides, fat soluble Vitamin C and essential fatty acids for optimum results proven by clinical studies that have shown an 85% reduction in free radical skin cell damage (which means less wrinkles and sun spots!).
Authentically Organic Antioxidant Juice Base
Most beauty products that use “organic” in their marketing use only a few organic ingredients in a water base, making the total organic content dilute and often less than 5%. Instead of the typical water base that cannot be certified “organic or pesticide free,” Juice Beauty puts over 100 USDA certified organic powerful ingredients into a 100% certified organic juice base (made from over 30 different juices) thus bringing the total organic content up to 98% in every product.

Commitment to Healthy Ingredients

The Juice Beauty team continually searches the West Coast for the purest, most effective organic ingredients, including organic juices, aloe vera, honey, botanicals, plant oils, and raw cane sugar from farms that specialize in sustainable and organic farming.

These amazing formulations are made without parabens, petroleum, propylene or butylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfates, pesticides, phthalates, artificial dyes or synthetic fragrances.

TIPS - Nail Grooming (Fingers + Toes)

Tips for grooming your nails

Clean, trim, groom and paint
Memorize these steps it should be your mantra. There is nothing and I repeat nothing more unattractive than seeing overgrown cuticles, chipped edges and dirty nails while you’re writing checks. Remember a person's Fingernails unveil their personal hygiene within seconds, almost faster than you can say but... you should follow a weekly grooming routine and  treat your nails the way you treat your hair basically. Having a professional manicure and pedicure is ideal, but if not, then why not buy a home kit for nails. But do memorise the mantra – it’s meditation for your nails :)
Quick tip:
Apply your favorite oil-based cuticle cream to your nails before going to bed. It’ll help hydrate, soften and repair the cuticles.

Bright, but mature nail colors
The biggest problem with bright colours is that it puts you on the borderline of a teenage, pop music lover and a corporate business junkie. So to not be generalized as such, stay clear from cotton candy colours and go for bolder hues. However if you do want a pop of gelato shades on the nails, you can then ask a professional manicurist to give you a half-moon design or French manicure

Hey don't forget your Toes!
The trace of summer in the southern hemisphere air brings with it the love for revealing shoes. Repeat the mantra for the toes because every woman’s addiction to shoes needs a grounded justification. Wear clashing colours so your foot can make the statement for your outfit – red nails with green stilettos or purple shoes with yellow nails. There are no boundaries this season.

Watch the shape!
The shape of the nails has always been a debate. The good news is that there are no rules to follow. Pick a nail shape that works for you with options being rounded, almond shape, square, pointed, oval, slightly sided with a pointed end. If you’re painting a bright colour, keep them short otherwise it’ll look comical and tacky. But the nails should extend to the edge of the finger. If you pick neutral and earthy shades, then long and shaped nails are the key.

Using a base coat is important!
If you’re a regular nail polish wearer, then ‘yellow-stained nails’ must ring a bell. Just as other make-up regimes demand a prep-up, coating the nails with a base coat is an absolute must. It not only feeds your nails with Vitamin E and minerals, but also protects them from lacquer stains.

Good luck! Let me know how it goes...
