Rapper Juice Wrld's Drug Addiction... Dead at 21!

On December 8th, 2019, just six (6) days after his birthday - Jarad Anthony Higgins known as rapper "Juice Wrld" passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest. He was on a flight from California to his hometown Chicago and upon arrival, it is said that he swallowed a handful of painkillers in an attempt to hide them from authorities.

The pilot of Juice Wrld’s private jet reportedly told ground officials that the rapper and his team had guns, which as we know is prohibited in air travel.

Several members of Juice's management team aboard the flight attested that Higgins had taken "several unknown pills" which included Percocet pills.

On the scene it was said that Juice began convulsing and seizing, after which two doses of the emergency medication Narcan were administered as an opioid overdose was suspected. Higgins was transported to the nearby Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead. Guns and 70lbs of marijuana were found in luggage aboard the

Higgins' funeral was held on December 13, 2019, at the Holy Temple Cathedral Church of God in Christ in Harvey, Illinois. Friends and family were in attendance, including collaborators Ski Mask the Slump God and Young Thug.

On January 22, 2020, the Cook County Medical Examiner stated that Higgins died as a result of toxic levels of oxycodone and codeine present in his system.

Juice Wrld has an estimated net worth of $6 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. He was only 21. 😔

Fellow artist Boosie Badazz suggested that the pilot of the plane was ultimately responsible for Higgins' death, referring to him as a snitch. Rapper Ski Mask the Slump God, who collaborated with Higgins on the hit song "Nuketown", said on Twitter "They keep taking my brothers from me", referring also to longtime collaborator XXXTentacion, who was shot and killed in June of 2018. Lil Yachty, who remixed Higgins' song "All Girls Are the Same" mourned his death along with Lil Uzi Vert, Drake, The Weeknd and others.

Higgins' mother Carmella Wallace expressed her hope that her son's legacy will help others in their battle with addictions saying:

"Addiction knows no boundaries, and its impact goes beyond the person fighting it. We hope the conversations he started in his music and his legacy will help others win their battles, as that is what he wanted more than anything. We know that Jarad’s legacy of love, joy and emotional honesty will live on."

Ex-girlfriend Alexia of Juice Wrld revealed in an exclusive interview with DailyMail that he would take up to three potent Percocet pills a day and mix the drugs with a cough syrup concoction called "lean" before their relationship fell apart when she tried to help him get clean. She knew what Higgins had died from before the reports came out, as she witnessed the rapper's heavy drug use daily while they dated in 2018.

In the exclusive interview, Smith, from Livonia, Michigan, detailed her relationship with Higgins, his struggles with depression and how she was forced to walk away after their relationship turned violent and left her with bruises when Higgins went through withdrawal.

🎤 It is extremely sad to lose yet another young, talented and upcoming young man. He was just getting started! It always makes me wonder why so many celebrities turn to drugs and alcohol when it seems they have so much going for them. Juice Wrld admitted growing up watching and listening to older rappers that stuff was glorified and they were is idols. I wonder how these rappers feel now?
Even though we lost a soul I do hope this is a lesson for many other young men who think it's cool to be "cool".

NBA YoungBoy Herpes RUMOR!

So rapper NBA YoungBoy had the Internet in a frenzy when a snippet of a unreleased song titled, “Truth About Herpes” surfaced on the web, alleging that his baby’s mother gave him herpes. 

I am not sure why he or anyone would reveal such personal info about their health, but these days people do anything for attention.
YoungBoy stated in a particular verse:-

“That ain’t the truth when I hear what you saying | I got herpes and I gave it to Ni  |  To tell the truth that chick gave it to me”  

also in his song "Can't Be Saved" YB stated in a verse:

 “Herpes in my blood and that shit got me cryin’ |  I really got feelings, you see without science,” 

The 20-year-old rapper from Baton Rouge decided to reveal that he does have the sexually transmitted disease and the Internet is not letting him forget it. No matter what the topic may be, you can guarantee a mention of the STD under any of his posts. 

Since YB claimed he got the infection from ex-girlfriend/baby mama Jania Jackson, it didn’t take long for her to respond.

It may be summer! graduation is finished, prom was successful but now it's time to enter the job market.
This can be a scary time for many, especially high school or college graduates.
When introducing yourself to a possible employer for the first time, it is important to create a resume or what most know as a "CV".Before you create a resume, it is important to include a "cover letter". This is a single-page letter that you include with your job application. A well-written resume is a key part of any job application. It can convince employers to interview you, or even hire you. It can also sell your strengths even if you don't have much paid experience.

Here are a few great points to get started.

COVER LETTER

You should always include a cover letter, unless the job advertisement clearly says not to.
The purpose of a cover letter is to introduce yourself mention the job (or kind of job) you're applying for (or looking for) show that your skills and experience match the skills and experience needed to do the job encourage the reader to read your resume finish with a call to action (for example, asking for an interview or a meeting).


What to include in your cover letter?

• Your name and contact details

These details go at the top of your cover letter. You don't have to give your postal address, but you do need to include your email and phone number.

Your email address should create a professional impression. Don't use an email address like: HotboyGirl2019@bmail.com.

If you don't have a professional email address, you can make one with a free email provider. Make it simple – something that includes your first name and your last name is a good way to go.

• Their name and contact details

Under your own name and contact details, you should include:Name of the person you're writing to and their position or the name of their company their contact details.

How long should a cover letter be?
Keep it short. A cover letter is meant to be a summary of your resume, so don’t write more than one page.

Match your cover letter to the job!
Use a different cover letter for each job you apply for. Your cover letter needs to show that you know what the job involves, and what the employer is looking for.

To do this, be specific about your skills and qualities. You also need to show how they match the needs of the job or the organisation.

Here are three simple ways to make your cover letter as specific as possible:

1. Find out who to address it to:

Try not to address your letter ‘To whom it may concern’. 

Find out the name of the person who will read your application. This might take a little effort, but it's worth it. 
TIP: You can use ‘To whom it may concern’, but it’s best to only use this as a last resort.

If you found the job in an advertisement, it will probably name a person to send the application to. If it doesn’t, call the employer or advertiser and ask who to send the application to. Telephone is best, but email them if you can’t find a contact phone number.
If you find out the person's name, don't use their first name. Use either ‘Mr’ or ‘Ms’ and their last name instead.

2. Find out more about the job description:

3. Find out more about the company:

Find out more about the company so you can tailor your cover letter for the job. 

Here are some tips:

• If you know the name of the company, look for information online.
• If the company has a website, visit it (especially their ‘About us’ page).
• If the company name isn't in the advertisement, call the recruitment agency or advertiser and ask who the employer is.
• Find out what the employer does, and how they talk about themselves. Use this language in your cover letter.

Dorian death toll increases to 69

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) yesterday confirmed the official death toll for Hurricane Dorian has risen to 69 after two unidentified human remains were found in The Mudd, Abaco.

The shanty town, populated by hundreds of unregulated homes, was leveled by Dorian in early September. According to NEMA, the Royal Bahamas Police Force reported yesterday that one body was found on November 8, while another was located last Thursday.
Of the 69 recovered, 59 had been found in Abaco, while another 10 bodies were discovered in Grand Bahama.
NEMA did not provide an update on the number of people who remain missing more than two months after the storm

At last report the number of missing people stood well over 200.
It has been more than a month since authorities updated that figure.
In its statement, NEMA said recovery efforts were ongoing.

As it relates to missing people, NEMA said inquiries should either be made at the Central Detective Unit in New Providence and Grand Bahama, as well as the Abaco Police Station located in the government complex in Marsh Harbour.

Dorian, a Category 5 storm, pummeled the Abaco and Grand Bahama, displacing thousands.
Storm victims continues to reside in shelters in New Providence.
It remains unclear how many people reside in the five shelters in New Providence.

At last report, there were nearly 800 people spread across the Kendal G. L. Isaacs Gymnasium and three large tents erected on the compound, as well as the Bahamas Academy Gymnasium.

Some displaced residents, particularly in Abaco remain in churches.
Others travelled to the United States, but have since returned to The Bahamas.

The government is in the process of establishing a temporary $6.4 million family relief facility in Abaco, which is expected to see the construction of 250 polycarbonate units in the first phase, each capable of housing up to four people.

I mean unless you know them personally or did some digging like I did, this has to be Rachel's best kept secret.


I always thought Ryan Henry was the father of  both of her kids.  Which could easily be assumed, due to the fact that on Black Ink, Ryan always showed how he cared for both children and referred to them as his boys. There was never a mention of only one being biologically his, until one fine Father's Day, a mini social media beef erupted... 

Ryan wrote:

"To keep bulls**t down, I keep my intimate personal away from social media as much as possible, but I have two kids. Not just one. My second son is not mine biologically, and I take nothing away from his father, but my son’s brother is treated as my son is, no question about it. My son will never be able to ask me “why did you do this for me and not my brother”.. They are one and the same. It was also rumored that Rachel kept Jeremih's son Canyon away; after she and Ryan hooked back up. Rachel's older son Mason, is by Ryan. Rachel stated in a VH1 interview that her relationship with Ryan ended due to his infidelity. She also revealed that she hooked up with "a celebrity" to take her mind off of Ryan (which she said worked) but was impregnated by him. Not wanting to reveal his name, she claimed Jeremih was not supportive and that they broke up before she had the baby. When she got back with Ryan he played the Father role despite Canyon not being his. 

In Jeremih's defense in a 2014 interview with Billboard Magazine- 

Jeremih stated:

“I stopped caring about being Jeremih over the last few months,” he says. “A lot of people don’t know I have a 2-year-old son. His mom wasn’t allowing me to see him, and it was messing with me.” “I was internally unbalanced. But I just got out of that trial and I won.”

When I heard the rumor of him being labeled a "Deadbeat", I had to see if there is truth to this.  We can clearly see from the above photos of them, he was there at some point and looked like a happy family. Obviously something had to have happened after that if Jeremih who is clearly making money; to deny his own child.

➤➣NOW FAST FORWARD... I'm just shocked that they hooked up, to begin with. I guess Jeremih and Rachel crossed paths in his hometown Chicago, Illinois. Jeremih always strikes me as really young and quiet, but somehow met and impregnated Rachel at the peak of his career.
We see this all the time... women being reckless and having "Revenge babies" or intentionally getting knocked up for a celebrity. She clearly stated that she broke up with Ryan; who had cheated on her, so it's safe to say Rachel was out in the streets looking to get even. Yup! I saw how she moved on Black Ink... very sly though she comes off innocent, I always said something deeper was going on.
I have to now wonder if that whole "being mad he messed with Kat, wasn't just for a storyline; because she was out there being messy too... Now she and Ryan are no longer together. 🤔 I guess she felt like she keeps getting played by Ryan. Damn! what y'all think?

2019 BAHAMAS YOUNG CHEF SENIOR & JUNIOR WINNERS

Antonesha Thompson of C.R. Walker Senior High School

Antonesha Thompson of C.R. Walker Senior High School in New Providence emerged as 1st place winner in the 2019 Young Chef Competition. According to the professional panel of chef/judges, the competition this year was a tough one, the creativity and flavours displayed by all contestants were impressive. 

Unfortunately, only one could win and both of Antonesha’s dishes, “Mahatma Rice Stormy Knights” and “Robin Hood Tropical Clouds” came out on top! She was awarded a $1,750 scholarship, a gold medal and took home the “Keith and Sara Parker Floating Trophy” for the senior division.

2nd place winner in the senior division was Alissa Swain of Patrick J. Bethel High School in Abaco. She received a $1,000 scholarship and a silver medal. Delcardo Sweeting came in 3rd from St. George’s High School in Grand Bahama, receiving a $550 scholarship and a bronze medal. Taking 4th position was Tatianna Major from Old Bight High School in Cat Island. She received a $350 scholarship.

This year two (2) trophies were introduced not only to show recognition to The "Bahamas Young Chef Culinary Competition" Founders, but to also give each school and it's participants a competitive edge.

Kristen Ingraham from Preston Albury High School 

1st Place in the Junior Division was Kristen Ingraham from Preston Albury High School in Eleuthera she received $650, a gold medal and she took home the “Keith and Sara Parker Floating Trophy” for the Junior division.

2nd was Kendra Estil of D.W. Davis Junior High School. She was awarded with $450 and a silver medal. Carrying the 3rd and 4th positions were Sierra Turnquest from NGM Major High in Long Island and Sarah Braynen from East End Junior High in Grand Bahama. They received $300 and $150 respectively.
