Rapper Chingy Opens Up About His Career Ending Mistake and Transgender Rumor...

106 & Park! Rap City! Summer 2003! I remember all too well, the "Dirty South" had our speakers pumpin' and the dance floors rockin' to hits from David Banner, Ludacris, and the Ying Yang Twins but this particular young man had all the girls screaming his name "CHINGY".
Does the song “Right Thurr” ring a bell?. It was his breakout hit, but he quickly blossomed into one of the brightest young stars of that time. “Right Thurr” was just the start, as he released four (4) studio albums, eight (8) mixtapes, fifteen (15) singles.
Related imageWith popular hits such as, “Pullin’ Me Back” (ft. Tyrese), “All the Way To St Louis” (Ft. David Banner, and the late Nate Dogg), “Leave Wit Me” (Ft. R. Kelly), “Holidae Inn” (Ft. Ludacris, Snoop Dogg), “One Call Away” (Ft. Jason Weaver).
Chingy was featured on BET’s docuseries "FINDING", where he discussed his successes and his mistakes that had cost him his career.
Chingy expressed how his biggest mistake may have been his choice in legal representation; and being young at the time, he employed a St. Louis lawyer, whom his mother recommended.
The lawyer made claims that the label was stealing from Chingy. This resulted in Chingy being dropped from the label and moved to Capitol Records, which further sparked a public feud between him Southern rapper Ludacris.
Related imageDuring a 2004 interview with Chingy’s Manager, Chaka Zulu, and Ludacris, they stated,
“We don’t want anybody representing the crew who is going to make false accusations like that, we have no respect for this individual basically.”
Chaka Zulu said that the books were shown to Chiny’s accountant who confirmed that there were no signs of theft and there was no money missing.
Ludacris had this to say in response to Ching-a-Ling’s allegations “I’m the CEO of the company, I’m also an artist, but I sign artists with the expectation of every single artist being as big as they can possibly be. That’s what makes me happy, because we are a family. You can still internally do your own thing, but still be a part of the family. No one’s going to pigeonhole you. We’re here to make you as successful as possible because it in turn makes us successful.”
It seems the move to Capitol Records was no fruitful as Ching registered poor performance for his second album Powerballin’. The rapper claims the album was poorly promoted and both Capitol and Slot-A-Lot Records dropping the ball when it came to putting out singles.

Transgender Sidney Starr
Poor album performance and beef with Nelly in 2005 really put things into perspective for Ching. The beef with Nelly saw the release of songs such as, “Another One” and “We Got.” Both artists have since squashed the beef and are even doing shows together.
He was rumored to be involved in a romantic relationship with transgender model Sidney Starr.
In a detailed interview with VLAD TV Sidney explains how she (He) met Chingy at a show in Chicago. The model later revealed that she (He) lied and issued a public apology.
Chingy nor His career was unable to recover this embarrassing scandal. Now 39, the rapper plans to continue his music career; he was currently working on a project "Just Like That" but stated that if is his legacy is that he is only known as the guy who sings “Right Thurr”  then so be it!

TIPS: Be the Person You Want to Find: Love, Relationships, Dating!

Be the Person You Want to Find!

Let's get straight to the point, would you... date you?

We hear it all the time "I am looking for the perfect man or woman" or "He or she is just not good enough" but why should we demand qualities and physical attributes in a significant other that we don’t possess ourselves.

Women specifically are known to have a long list and check it twice when they enter into new relationships. This is a list we have had from the time we were teenagers. As we got older we continued to add or subtract from our equation of what makes up the perfect man, but I wonder if we look at ourselves and compare what we have to what is written on our list.

Come on guys! you can’t look for a perfect 10 when you are an 8.5. The saying that you should always look for someone to compliment you and not complete you holds true. When you have yourself together, a person who shares your same qualities will take notice of you because, of all the great things they see within them... in you.

For example; you can’t want a mate who is intellectually sound when you can’t remember the last time you opened a book or viewed an educational program. You can’t want a mate who is spiritually strong when you can’t remember the last time you prayed, walked through a church door, or opened your bible. You especially can’t demand that a mate be physically fit when the only time you exercise is when you walk to the nearest subway.

What I am saying is before you critique anyone else’s shortcomings, you must first look in the mirror and ask yourself if you are able to offer everything for which you are asking. A mate should always be an option and not a necessity. Time invested in bettering yourself is priceless. Time invested in analyzing someone else’s flaws is a waste.

Love is something that most people want to experience, but love of self should always be the ultimate goal. Being confident in who you are and knowing that you have a lot to bring to the table will always attract others who have the same characteristics. A hypocrite is something that no one wants to be labeled, especially when it comes to what we demand versus what we can give in a relationship.

Instead of making a list for an ideal man or woman, make a list of what you feel the ideal mate should be and make sure you fit the profile before critiquing someone else. Never require what you can’t give in return.

Makes sense? I think so.

RID UNWANTED HAIR

Women just like men have hair growth in the face, though the hair is not as coarse.
Unwanted excess hair can be a bit unappealing when it grows in between the eyebrows, in the eyebrows, chin, upper lip, and sideburns.

Doctors say the #1 cause of facial hair growth in women is due to hormonal imbalance and is very common in women who are overweight. Other reasons are due to a person's physical characteristics, ancestry and genetics which also plays a role.

The good news is, there are several methods for facial hair removal for women.
For a temporary technique, many opt for waxing or tweezing, while for something more permanent, laser hair removal is the option.

Waxing

This is a quick and effective – yet painful – way to get a smooth-looking face. But again, some women react to this technique better than others, so be sure to try a test spot before waxing the facial area. You can find a few skin care products that are meant to soothe skin post-waxing.

Tweezing

Some women choose to tweeze unwanted hairs, but this isn't an ideal solution because repeated plucking can cause irritation of the hair follicle and, on darker-skinned women, may result in scarring. Also, hair will grow back thicker and stiffer once it's plucked. Unless you have just a few stray hairs that occasionally pop up, avoid tweezing unwanted hair.

Laser hair removal

This is a popular hair removal procedure. The ideal candidate for laser work has fair skin and dark hair, but darker-skinned women can have good results with an experienced laser practitioner. Overall, laser hair removal is not very effective on light blonde or white hair.
Before you begin laser treatment, you should consult a dermatologist to determine if you are a good candidate.

Electrolysis

Electrolysis has the best overall results, versus any other method, in ridding hair for long periods of time- or even permanently. Many different hair and skin types can benefit from it; because it doesn't target hair pigment (color) like laser, but attacks the follicle itself.
People that aren't good candidates for laser can still get electrolysis.

Like everything else is has it's cons like previous waxing or tweezing can make hair follicles bent or misshapen, and getting the needle to the root more difficult to destroy the follicle. Sometimes multiple treatments are necessary, which can be time consuming. Electrolysis can also cause skin discoloration if not done properly.

It is important to examine all methods and see which works best for you.

LIFE AFTER SCHOOL - JOB HUNTING? (PART 1)

Cover Letters, Jobs, Job Hunting, Resume

It may be summer! graduation is finished, partying is over but now it's time to enter the job market. This can be a scary time for many, especially high school or college graduates.

When introducing yourself to a possible employer for the first time, it is important to create a resume or what most know as a "CV". Before you create a resume, it is important to include a "cover letter".
This is a single-page letter that you include with your job application. A well-written resume is a key part of any job application. It can convince employers to interview you, or even hire you. It can also sell your strengths even if you don't have much paid experience.

Here are a few great points to get started.

COVER LETTER
You should always include a cover letter, unless the job advertisement clearly says not to.

The purpose of a cover letter is to introduce yourself mention the job (or kind of job) you're applying for (or looking for) show that your skills and experience match the skills and experience needed to do the job encourage the reader to read your resume finish with a call to action (for example, asking for an interview or a meeting).

What to include in your cover letter?
Your name and contact details
These details go at the top of your cover letter. You don't have to give your postal address, but you do need to include your email and phone number.

Your email address should create a professional impression. Don't use an email address like: HotboyGirl2019@bmail.com.

If you don't have a professional email address, you can make one with a free email provider. Make it simple – something that includes your first name and your last name is a good way to go.

Their name and contact details
Under your own name and contact details, you should include: Name of the person you're writing to and their position or the name of their company their contact details.

How long should a cover letter be?
Keep it short. A cover letter is meant to be a summary of your resume, so don’t write more than one page.

Match your cover letter to the job!

Use a different cover letter for each job you apply for. Your cover letter needs to show that you know what the job involves, and what the employer is looking for.

To do this, be specific about your skills and qualities. You also need to show how they match the needs of the job or the organisation.

Here are three simple ways to make your cover letter as specific as possible:

1. Find out who to address it to:
Try not to address your letter ‘To whom it may concern’.

Find out the name of the person who will read your application. This might take a little effort, but it's worth it.

TIP: You can use ‘To whom it may concern’, but it’s best to only use this as a last resort.
If you found the job in an advertisement, it will probably name a person to send the application to. If it doesn’t, call the employer or advertiser and ask who to send the application to. Telephone is best, but email them if you can’t find a contact phone number.

If you find out the person's name, don't use their first name. Use either ‘Mr’ or ‘Ms’ and their last name instead.

2. Find out more about the job description:

When finding out who to address your application to, you could also try to contact that person so you can ask questions. This can help you match your cover letter (and resume) to the job.

Questions you could ask:

Does the job involve working as part of a team?

Who would I be reporting to if I got the job?

Can you tell me more about the kind of person you're looking for?

Is there a position description I can look at?

(Only ask this if the job advertisement doesn’t mention a position description.) Write down the answers to these questions as they can be used in your cover letter.

3. Find out more about the company:

Find out more about the company so you can tailor your cover letter for the job.

Here are some tips:

If you know the name of the company, look for information online.
If the company has a website, visit it (especially their ‘About us’ page).
If the company name isn't in the advertisement, call the recruitment agency or advertiser and ask who the employer is.
Find out what the employer does, and how they talk about themselves. Use this language in your cover letter.

NBA YoungBoy is FREE!

Baton Rouge rapper NBA YoungBoy was released from court supervision Friday after a judge agreed to terminate his probation early, noting he's complied with all its conditions over the past several months.

The judge's decision, which came over objections from prosecutors, brings an end to the rapper's long standing legal troubles in East Baton Rouge Parish. NBA YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, is now free to do whatever he wants, including schedule performances, release music and even move out of state.

Gaulden's attorney, James Manasseh, said his client is planning to leave Baton Rouge, possibly relocating to Los Angeles for a bigger market and better opportunities to pursue his burgeoning career.
"Being in Baton Rouge isn't conducive to him being able to grow and move forward," Manasseh said after the hearing Friday, calling Gaulden a "genuinely good hearted, generous, sweet young man" who works hard for his success.

Gaulden, 20, rose to national acclaim as a teenager growing up in Baton Rouge. But his success has been marred with violence and drama.

He served 90 days in jail this summer after state District Judge Bonnie Jackson handed down a temporary probation hold in a 2016 nonfatal shooting case. Prosecutors had moved to revoke his probation entirely, which would have sent him to prison for 10 years, following his involvement in a shootout in Miami this Mother's Day that left a bystander dead.

Gaulden is also facing legal troubles in other states, including two recent arrests in Georgia, one involving domestic violence allegations.
The judge had given Gaulden a suspended 10-year prison term in August 2017 and put him on probation for three years after he pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a firearm in the 2016 shooting. But Jackson decided Friday that the rapper had served enough time under court supervision — 28 months on probation — and released him.

Jackson had previously granted several requests in recent months allowing Gaulden to leave his house for various reasons, including to attend doctors appointments, meet with his financial advisers and attorneys, and drive his car to shoot a rap video.

Gaulden arrived at the 19th Judicial District Courthouse in downtown Baton Rouge Friday morning in a Rolls Royce, flanked with security guards dressed in suits and shades who waited outside during the hearing. He also brought a film crew to record him entering the courthouse.

Manasseh said he believes Gaulden has matured in recent years and simply needs to distance himself from certain people who are negative influence. The Miami shootout remains unsolved — Florida authorities initially said they suspected a rival Baton Rouge rap group might have targeted Gaulden and his entourage.

It appears local law enforcement responded to that incident with a renewed focus on preventing gun violence stemming from Baton Rouge rap beefs, specifically an established feud between the associates of NBA YoungBoy and Gee Money. The two were friends growing up and entered the rap scene around the same time, but later had a falling out just months before Gee Money was found shot to death in September 2017.

An associate of NBA YoungBoy was arrested in that shooting earlier this summer, and another associate was arrested just days later and accused of firing alongside Gaulden in the 2016 fatal shooting that resulted in his probation term.

After Gee Money's death, NBA YoungBoy's agent, Desmond "Dump" Hardnett, was shot and killed in May 2018, and then Blvd Quick, another rapper affiliated with Gee Money, died in a shooting just months later.

Judge Jackson has referenced the violence that seems to follow Gaulden during his recent hearings, cautioning him to protect himself and the people around him and refrain from engaging in conflicts.
"All around you people are dropping dead, and you don't care," she told him in May. "Who do you think you are?"

Remedies: RID MUCUS FROM YOUR BODY

Hey darlings! We all have experienced that nagging thing called "Mucus" whether you had a nasty cold or you are battling allergies. I know I have; my 12yr. old son has acute Asthma, so you know I am always looking for ways to clear his breathing passage.

Here are a few things you can do to help rid mucus from your body, but first you have to limit your exposure to irritants such as: Household cleaners, paint fumes, smoke and other chemicals that worsen respiratory conditions. Then, regularly expel mucus whenever you can.

   TIPS:

• Try not to swallow the mucus, only a small part of the mucus goes down into the stomach where it gets dissolved. The majority of it gets stuck in your throat.

• Have a nice hot cup of soup. Chicken broth or similar soups will help moisten airways and break up the mucus.

• Avoid drinking milk as this causes the production of mucus.

• Use lemon and honey. Mix approximately 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and a tablespoon of honey with a cup of hot water. This mixture should help clear your throat, as the lemon will cut through the mucus while the honey will soothe the throat.

• Try not to blow your nose too much, especially on only one side. The force of it can blow mucus farther into your sinuses and ears, causing headaches and earaches. If you need to blow, do so gently and with both nostrils.

• Gargle with salt water.

• Use a vaporizer at night. Adding a few drops of eucalyptus oil to it will help relieve some of the congestion and moisten air.

• Try and swallow a bit of pure lemon juice each day.

• Do not eat eggs, chocolate, or sugar.

• Mix Lemon Juice with cayenne pepper. This will break away the mucus.

• Horseradish and garlic tablets help.

• Put red dates, brown sugar, and ginger to a boil till the aroma comes out and consume it. This will help to clear the phlegm .

• Drink hot black Coffee

• Drink Water. This will get rid of the mucus stuck in the esophagus and clean out your throat.

• Gargle salt water. This is a remedy proven to clear the back of the throat. However, don't add too much salt because this can irritate the throat more and produce more phlegm.

• Eat spicy foods. Horseradish and hot chili peppers will help loosen up mucus.

• Consult a doctor. If none of these remedies work, your doctor will be able to give you prescription medication. They will also be able to identify if you may be suffering from influenza or bronchitis.

🖊
Hope at least one of them helps. Don't forget to let us know which worked best for you. :)  Good luck.

Theme: “Infusing the Flavors of My Island: Dis We Bahamas”

The 26th Annual Bahamas Young Chef Competitions is underway with the first of three phases which began January 8th - 31st, 2018. Phase 1 - the inter-school competitions - allow Family and Consumer Sciences junior and senior students across the nation, the opportunity to compete in a face-off within their schools. The best student from each island and/ or school moves on to the semi-final round in Phase 2 of the competition.  Finally, the crème de la crème will go head to head in the "Nationals" - from March 13-15, 2018,  when the Champion Young Chef will be officially crowned!

Last year The Bahamas Young Chef Culinary Competition, the sponsors, Mahatma® Rice, Robin Hood® Flour, in conjunction with The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology decided to add new challenges and prizes to an already exciting programme.

Special team challenges include:
“Young Chef Cupcake Competition” 2-member teams, for grades 10-12 students
“Young Chef Cupcake Competition” 2-member teams for grades 7-9 students
“Young Chef Signature Dish Competition: Pastry (Flour)” 2-member teams, grade 12 students only!
“Young Chef Mystery Basket Competition: Hot Dish (Rice)” 2-member teams, grade 12 students only!

These new challenges increased the interest of students nationwide, resulting in the doubling of participants over the  previous years - with the majority of them flying in from the Family Islands. The students were extremely excited to show off  their intrinsic culinary skills to "Wow" the judges and confidently represent their schools.

During the 2017 Awards Presentation, The Bahamas Governor General Her Excellency Dame Marguerite, lauded the partnership of the private and public sectors, especially their teachers,  for creating such success for the future of culinary arts in The Bahamas.

“I commend the organizers, teachers and students for the level of professionalism and skills they have developed and demonstrated during this event and challenge you further to allow the expertise, the constructive criticism and recommendations of the industry professionals attached to the competition to propel you toward maximizing your productive capacity as budding chefs. Students, your potential is limitless.”

“To the sponsors, the judges and the organizers, such an event is an ideal representation of the value and strength of public private sector partnerships in order to build capacity in Culinary Arts within The Commonwealth of the Bahamas. “I challenge you to find new avenues and ventures to expose more students to such a heightened level of professional exposure. We look forward to 25 more years of great success.”
