Young Buck:: Jail Time

Former G-Unit rapper, David Darnell Brown known as "Young Buck" has begun his 18 month prison sentence for gun possession, he was sentence to 3 years but granted lesser time. It is reported, Buck arrived at the Yazoo City Medium Security Federal Prison in Mississippi today.

Federal agents found multiple guns, including a .40 caliber Glock 22 at his home back in 2010, while he was already on parole, which prompted a violation and automatic jail time.


After the sentencing Buck told reporters:

"With the judge not considering my history to subtract some time, I'm just thankful for what time I do have".

If you remember Buck was apart of the group G-UNIT which included Lloyd Banks and 50 cent, their popular album Beg for Mercy topped the charts in 2003. 

50 cent recorded Buck during a phone conversation. A beef ensued, Buck was kicked out of the group and fell on hard times.

In July the IRS auctioned off his assets to pay a $300,000 tax bill.
